Congress Overview

LDLT Study Group was founded in 2014 to promote worldwide advances in LDLT through knowledge dissemination and research. The organization has been hosting international congresses biannually, during the 3rd Congress in Dallas, USA, it was decided that the 4th international congress will be hosted by Kaohsiung, Taiwan with Prof. Chao-Long Chen as congress president. We believe that this congress will provide an opportunity for prominent speakers and delegates from all over the world to share the most up-to-date outstanding surgical accomplishments, new techniques and research in the field of LDLT.

Venue Information

Buddha Museum

It is the biggest Buddhist Monastery in Taiwan and one of the largest Buddhist organization worldwide. It also houses one of the remaining Buddha’s tooth relics in the world. It is one of the most visited spot. The serene atmosphere is conducive for learning new ideas and concepts. It fosters peace and harmony, and in keeping an open mind to new knowledge. The venue hall provides 250 seats for the LDLT Study Group Congress.

Location: No. 1, Tongling Rd, Dashu, Kaohsiung 840, Taiwan

For international guests, taking direct flight to Kaohsiung airport from Hong Kong airport is one of the most convenient ways to enter Kaohsiung. Kaohsiung International airport is connected to High Speed Rail (HSR) station via the MRT Redline. Shuttle bus going to Buddha Museum is stationed at HSR Zuoying station. Taking taxi directly from airport to Buddha Museum costs about NT$900 (US$30).
